Job 2- Butcher – Full Time 📍 SS17 7LJ | 💷 From £35,000 per year

The Chop Shop Butchery is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Butcher to join our team.

​

Role Involves:

  • Preparing and cutting meat to customer specifications

  • Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

  • Managing customer orders efficiently

  • Monitoring stock levels and equipment

  • Advising customers on cuts and cooking methods

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years’ butchery experience (trainees with food industry background considered)

  • Strong knowledge of food safety and handling

  • Familiarity with a wide range of meat cuts

Job 4: Hebden Bridge - Experienced Butcher


A Full time position for an experienced butcher (5+ years) to start ASAP.

Description of duties:
Our butchery prepares quality cuts from whole carcass beef, pork & lamb alongside making all our own burgers, sausage, kebabs and an extensive range of modern value added products. We also prepare all our meats for our on site bakery, and a few local pubs, bars & cafes. Applicants must be smart, presentable, enjoy customer service & be willing to work hard as a team. The position will include weekend work.

We are looking for an experienced, talented and enthusiastic Butcher with excellent knife skills. All carcass meat no boxed so experience essential. We are a very busy shop so you will need to work at speed and on your own initiative.

Proven experience of all aspects of butchery and meat preparation in a retail environment. The successful candidate will be joining a role with support and assistance from the owners, where you can experience and learn our standards and expectations.

This is a full time position and will include weekend work (Saturdays). Working Tuesday-Saturday.
